1. What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. “Local storage” is a similar technology that lets a website save small amounts of information in your browser. We use both for a limited set of purposes described below.
2. We don’t use tracking or advertising cookies
Tribe & Toast does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics/tracking cookies, and we do not sell your data. The cookies and storage we use are strictly necessary to run the platform or to remember simple preferences that improve your experience.
3. Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the platform to work and cannot be switched off through our site.
| Name | Purpose | Set by |
|---|---|---|
sb-*-auth-token | Keeps you signed in and maintains your secure session. | Supabase (authentication) |
signup_role | Short-lived cookie that remembers whether you’re signing up as a client or vendor through a Google sign-in redirect. Expires within minutes. | Tribe & Toast |
4. Functional local storage
These remember small preferences in your browser. They are not shared with us or any third party.
| Name | Purpose |
|---|---|
tt_recent_service_searches | Remembers your recent searches so they can be suggested next time. |
tt_quote_sent | Lets us show a confirmation message after you send a quote request and create an account. |
5. Managing cookies and storage
You can control or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings, and set your browser to block them. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop you from signing in and using core parts of the platform. You can clear functional local storage at any time without affecting your account.
6. Changes to this notice
If we introduce new cookies or technologies in future (for example, optional analytics), we will update this notice and, where the law requires, ask for your consent first.
